Our J.K. FENNER (INDIA) LIMITED CSR PROJECT

Our MEEL INDIA Trust happily associated with J.K Fenner India Limited – Madurai, Dindigul & Sriperumbuthur unit on past three years. Through, association with J.K. Fenner CSR Initiatives Our MEEL INDIA Trust had enlightened the lamp in life for many youths and women through skill Training Program, Health Camps and various social development activities.
Under CSR Initiatives of J.K Fenner India Limited – Madurai, Dindigul and Sriperumbuthur unit conducted One month JCB, Forklift, Poclain & Hitachi Operation & Maintenance Skill Training Program 5 batches/ per year (Each Batch 30 unemployed and underemployed youths got benefited). Each Trainee was got SKILL INDIA Certificate and Job Placement Orders.

Our KRYOLAN COSMETICS (INDIA) PVT LTD CSR PROJECT

Our MEEL INDIA Trust happily associated with KRYOLAN COSMETICS (INDIA) Pvt Ltd., on past two years.
Through, association with KRYOLAN CSR Initiatives Our MEEL INDIA Trust had initiated and established the MEEL INDIA Training institute infrastructure to reach more youths and needy people to empower them.

Health

MEEL INDIA rendering Home Health Care Services at Home & Hospital. Through this noble service, MEEL INDIA has reached many destitute Patients and Elderly persons. Moreover, through this service MEEL INDIA has employment opportunity to the women and youths who hail from slum.

MEEL Home Nursing Care

MEEL INDIA has running MEEL HOME NURSING CARE services on past 2013. Through our Home Care Services MEEL INDIA Trust has providing job opportunity to the unemployed and underemployed women & youth.

MEEL Nursing Institute

MEEL INDIA has running MEEL HEALTH INSTITUTE after getting proper approval from Bharat Sevak Samaj (Reg No: TN/8584) on past 2020. Through this Health Institute our MEEL INDIA Trust has providing opportunity to school dropouts students, School Education discontinued or failed students to complete some professional courses and to improve their academic skills.

Education

Remedial Education is intended to provide to the school going children. MEEL INDIA has organized Child Resource Centre for Socially and Economically backward childrens in urban slums in Madurai.
Our MEEL INDIA Trust had conducted Carrier Guidance Awareness Program in National Cooperation Sugar Mill Higher Secondary School at Mettupatti Village – Madurai.
There were about 150 9th, 10th 11th & 12th Standard Students were participated and got the Carrier Guidance Awareness and related Manuals and their importance. At the end of the program Carrier Guidance related pamphlets also distributed.

Livelihood Enhancement:

Livelihood options by means of skill based entrepreneurial will be provided to the unemployed youth and women. Skill based trainings would be provided there by self and wage employment would be planned to enhance the income sources. The viability for these kinds of skill is good and chances for earning a reasonable income.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

Adequate safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene (SDG6) are essential features to ensure good health and wellbeing (SDG3), Functioning and environmentally suitable sanitation and hygiene remain out of reach for many people in rural and urban slums.

Advocacy

MEEL INDIA conducting various advocacy programs like HIV/AIDS Awareness program, Environmental Awareness program, Human Rights Awareness program, Rural Education Awareness Program, Child Rights Awareness Program & World Women’s Day Program etc., Our MEEL INDIA Trust had conducted Against to Girl Child & Women Sexual Harassment Awareness Day Celebration in associate with Tamil Nadu Urban Habitation Development Board, Madurai at Rajakoor Slum – Madurai.

There were about 200 girl child & women were participated and got knowledge about the against to Girl Child & Women Sexual Harassment Awareness Day and their importance. At the end of the program Signature Campaign also conducted and took oath against the sexual Harassment against women & girl children.

Our MEEL INDIA Trust had conducted One Month Community Reach Program in association with Madurai Institute of Social Sciences at Madurai Slums due to Celebrate the October 1st World Elders Day.

There were about 232 public people were benefited and got the Basic Health Checkup at their door step and Health related Manuals and their importance related pamphlets also distributed.

Farmer Producer Company

MEEL INDIA in inception stage to form a Farmer producer company by organizing more than 1000 farmers in Madurai east & west block. Through this Farmer Producer company MEEL INDIA can reach more farmers to get nominal price for their produce.
Under CSR Initiatives, J.K Fenner India Limited – Madurai unit conducted one day Farmers Training Program at ICAR – KRISHI VIGYAN KENDRA, Madurai at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University – Madurai in associate with our MEEL INDIA Trust.
In this, Program Mr. Ramkumar, Founder / Director told the welcome address and welcoming the gathering infront of Dr. Vallal Kannan Head of the Department – KVK, Mr. Ignatious HR – Assistant Manager, J.K. Fenner India Limited, Madurai Unit and Mr. Veerasamy CSR – Consultant, J.K. Fenner India Limited, Madurai Unit.
Moreover, Dr. Vallal Kannan Head of the Department – KVK explained the concept of Integrated forming, cultivation and Marketing in detailed manner. In between, Participants were actively participated and asked several questions related Farming and clarified their doubts. At the end of the Session, Mr. Ignatious HR – Assistant Manager, J.K. Fenner India Limited, Madurai Unit were told vote of thanks to the Participants.

Students' career counseling centre

With the fast growing technology, students from rural areas are being marginalized in the competitive environment. We have analyzed that it is not the scarcity of talent but inadequacy of awareness on the fast changing requirements in all walks of life. Keeping this in mind, MEEL INDIA has setup students counseling centre. It provides psychological support and guidance to the talents that are available in villages and help them to limelight. It also gives the students proper guidance in terms of their career, higher education, specialization and their mental well being through counseling, coaching, training and employment through references and contacts.

Research

MEEL INDIA is a premier inter-disciplinary research group with wide interests and capability in the areas of Communication, training and Social Research. New studies of a varied nature such as, assessing communication needs, designing social messages, social marketing strategies and evaluating campaigns of development programmes are undertaken by MEEL INDIA. very recently MEEL INDIA has taken up a Research Study on Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project (TNRTP) supported by Mahalir Thittam – Theni & Madurai
